The collaboration between the Canadian Government and Enbridge Gas aims to provide eligible Canadians with grants and rebates for upgrading their home's HVAC systems to more energy-efficient options, particularly heat pumps. By leveraging these Ontario heat pump rebates, homeowners can significantly save on the installation costs of heat pumps, enhancing energy efficiency in their homes.
Unfortunately, Enbridge has temporarily paused new registrations for the Heat Pump Rebate program as January 19, 2024. However, we hope the program could reopen soon to allow more homeowners to capitalize on the advantages and contribute of the heat pumps can saving energy, also reducing gas emissions.
